MORE ABOUT TIKIDUB
VISION
At Tikidub, our vision is to create a holistically independent and healthy music business that can support other Maori and NZ artists towards their own autonomy and positive wellbeing, thus transforming the NZ music industry as a whole.
Looking to the future, we see our music taking on a reputation as having a distinctively profound effect on people worldwide. For these reasons, our music will travel far and wide, exploding into both mainstream and underground circles, infiltrating media, homes and hearts across the planet.
MISSION STATEMENT
Tikidub Productions Ltd takes a proactive approach to our business by realizing our own potential to determine our destiny. As a whanau business, we believe that to do right by our whanau is to do right by our company and so we look to our closest sources of trust for guidance wherever possible. More often than not, the decisions we make stem from a place of reinforcing our values, strengthening our identity and creating a safe legacy for the future.
When it comes to our music, we believe we inspire positive change in peoples’ lives through creating profound music that stirs the soul and uplifts the spirit. The music and music products we create are so honest and articulate, they can illuminate even the most hidden of issues - motivating people worldwide to seek out answers to their own questions, consequently enhancing their lives

WHANAU
The driving force behind Tikidub lies with Tiki and his sisters Maureen and Ninakaye. With both the girls being huge fans of their brother’s music since they can remember, they enjoy applying their energetic passion for his music to the cause. Respectively they are unique individuals, each bringing their own strengths and skill base to the Tikidub kaupapa.
NINAKAYE – Managing Director
The second eldest child, Ninakaye has resided in Hamilton for the last 4 years with her own whanau. As manager of the company, she brings her experience from various roles within Hauora, Event Management, Film and Television and Fitness industries to the Tikidub table. Ninakaye states her focus as being to “keep the waka moving in the direction of the overall vision, whilst dealing immediately with the weather and creatures of the ocean along the way”. Ninakaye has completed a Certificate in Small Business Management as well as a Certificate in Maori Leadership (AMO), and is Trustee and Secretary for the Wahanui Inuwai Taane Te Puna O Te Ora Whanau Trust.
MAUREEN – Merchandise Manager
The oldest of the siblings, Maurz moonlights as Manager of the award-winning Christchurch Vault store where she has been in this position since it opened in 1994. She is also the Import Manager for The Vault NZ and currently sits on the board for the Christchurch Central City Business Association. In the past she has been an Executive Board Member for Tainui ki Otautahi Charitable Trust, also for Discovery 1 School. Having been involved in the design/exhibition retail field for a career that spans over two decades, Maurz brings her exclusive knowledge of marketing, branding and innovation to Tikidub Productions.
OTHER CONNECTIONS
Tikidub Productions also works closely alongside others in order to make things happen, one of those being Aotearoa NZ record label Dirty Dub. Managed by Ingrid Round (also Artist Manager of PNC, Concord Dawn, 48 May, State of Mind and Bulletproof), Dirty Dub is Tiki’s collaboration with P Money and Callum August, both of Dirty Records. With the label established initially for the purpose of releasing Tiki’s debut LP, Ingrid has been very busy ensuring that Tiki’s music reaches as many eyes and ears as possible via radio and TV promotion and airplay whilst publicist Lisa Paris (of The Label) spreads “the Tiki word” far and wide. Combined with the added expertise of Auckland based distributor Peter Baker and his company Rhythmethod, quite clearly, Tiki’s music is in some seriously capable hands!
